Home Remedies for FEVER

During a SEASON change, we are more exposed to VIRAL FEVER. 
 
The natural home remedy for fever are: 





1 
Boil 10 tulsi (Basil) leaves in half litre water.
In another vessel, take half cup milk and add to it 1 tsp sugar and 1/4 tsp powdered cardamom,
Drop the tulsi leaves in the milk and drink twice daily to bring down the temperature.

Drink tea made from fenugreek seeds twice daily, This soothing drink is beneficial to cleanse the system.
It is specifically helpful in dissolving mucus. 






Add 1tsp glucose or honey to 1 cup fresh apricot juice and drink.
It quenches thirst and also supplies vitamins and minerals to the body. It relaxes the eyes,stomach,liver,heart,and nerves. It is good to treat fever,especially when it is accompanied with body ache and an upset stomach. 



Soak 25 raisins in half cup water and crush them in same water.
Strain the water and discard the skin.
Add 1/2 tsp limejuice to raisin water and drink twice daily.

There are many ways to manage and cure it.


The first herb that you should reach out for when you get a cold is TULSI(BASIL).
It provides instant relief from cough, cold and flu. 







Some of the popular HOME REMEDIES are


1. Add lemon juice to hot cup of tea and drink.

2. To one cup of milk add half a teaspoon of turmeric (haldi) and one teaspoon of honey. Have this two to three times a day.

3. Prepare mint leaves tea(Boil mint leaves in water for 10 mins)and drink it thrice daily.

4. Add a small piece of crushed ginger to tea and allow it to boil for at least half to one minute. Have this twice a day.

5. Add pepper powder and sugar cube to boiling milk and drink.

6. Inhaling steam for a cold helps in soothing the throat and clearing your up sinuses.

7. Adding a few tulsi leaves to tea is also an excellent cure for a scratchy throat.

8. Gargling with salt water thrice a day is good for a bad throat.
